Cancel an Order

Sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to cancel an order that a brand has placed with you. Collabstr allows creators to request cancellations directly through the platform. Payments are held in escrow until the order is completed or cancelled, ensuring fair handling for both sides.


When you submit a cancellation request:


  • You can do so directly from your Orders Dashboard.
  • Payments remain securely in escrow until the request is resolved.
  • Both you and the brand must agree before a cancellation is finalized. If the brand does not respond within 72 hours, the order is automatically cancelled and refunded.
  • Once approved, funds are returned to the brand’s Collabstr account balance.
  • If there is a dispute, Collabstr Support can step in to mediate.


How to Cancel an Order


1. Open Your Order


  • Go to your Orders Dashboard.
  • Select the order you want to cancel.
  • Note: Only orders in the In-Progress stage can be cancelled.


2. Submit a Cancellation Request


  • In the order details section, click Cancel Order.
  • Provide a reason for the cancellation so the brand understands.


3. Wait for Brand Response


  • The brand has 72 hours to accept your cancellation request.
  • If they do not respond within that time, the order will be automatically cancelled and refunded.


4. Resolution


  • If your request is accepted (or auto-approved after 72 hours), the order will be closed and funds refunded to the brand.
  • If the brand declines or you revoke the request, the order will continue as normal.
  • If there is disagreement, Collabstr Support may step in to review and decide the outcome.


5. Confirmation


  • Finalized cancellations are removed from your dashboard.
  • The brand will see their funds returned to their Collabstr balance, which they can use for another order.
