Placing an order on Collabstr is the process for hiring influencers for your campaign. You can either purchase a preset package from an influencer’s profile or create a custom offer. All payments are securely processed through Collabstr’s escrow system, so funds are only released when you approve the content.

How to Place an Order


1. Select an Influencer


  • Use the search tool or browse campaigns to find an influencer.
  • Open their profile and review available packages (e.g., TikTok video, Instagram post).


2. Add to Cart or Send a Custom Offer


  • Click Add to Cart to purchase a preset package.
  • If you need something specific, click Send Custom Offer to propose details and pricing.


3. Checkout & Payment


  • Review your cart before checking out.
  • Complete payment with a supported method.
  • Funds are held securely in escrow until the order is complete.


4. Enter Campaign Details


  • Fill out the order detail form with:
    • Campaign description
    • Deadline
    • Usage rights
    • Attachments or content examples
  • Be as detailed as possible, since influencers use this information to decide whether to accept the order.


5. Manage Your Orders


  • Access your Orders Dashboard from your brand account.
  • Orders will first appear under Pending. Influencers have 72 hours to accept or decline.
    • If declined, funds are instantly refunded to your account balance.
    • If accepted, the order moves to In-Progress.
  • Use the built-in chat to provide instructions or clarifications.

Every order you place will move through different states. Here’s how it works:


  • Pending – Once you submit an order, it will appear as pending. The influencer has 72 hours to accept or decline.
    • If declined, your funds are automatically refunded to your account balance.
    • If accepted, the order moves to in-progress.
  • In-Progress – The influencer is working on your content. You can use the order chat to provide feedback or answer questions.
  • Completed – Once you approve the final content, the order is marked as completed and payment is released to the influencer.
  • Canceled – If the influencer declines the order, misses the deadline, or you cancel while it’s still in-progress, the order will be marked as canceled and removed from your order dashboard.


6. Approve or Request Revisions


  • Review submitted content.
  • Approve it if satisfied, or click Request Revision to ask for changes.


7. Complete the Order


  • Once approved, payment is released to the influencer.
  • You’ll have the option to leave a review for the influencer.

You set the order deadline during checkout. Influencers can review the deadline before accepting or declining your order. If there is not deadline, typically most orders are completed in less than 14 days if you’re shipping the influencer a physical product. If you’re not shipping the influencer a physical product, campaigns typically finish in less than 7 days.


Can I cancel an order?

Yes. You can cancel an order from the order details page by clicking the “Cancel Order” button. You can only request to cancel in-progress orders.


What happens if an influencer misses the order deadline?

If the deadline passes without delivery, you can reach out to the influencer through the order chat. If the issue is not resolved, you may request a cancellation and your funds will be refunded.


Can I get a refund if the influencer doesn’t deliver?

Yes. If an influencer does not deliver the agreed content, you can cancel the order and your funds will be refunded to your account balance where you can spend them on another order, or withdraw back to your account balance.


How do I communicate with influencers during an order?

All communication takes place in the built-in order chat. This ensures all details and agreements are documented and tied to the order.


Can I change the details of an order after it has started?

Minor adjustments can be discussed in the order chat. For major changes such as platform, deliverables, or pricing, the influencer may propose a new price.


Are there fees for placing an order with influencers?

What if I have a dispute with an influencer?

If you and the influencer cannot resolve an issue through the order chat, you can reach out to Collabstr support. Collabstr’s support team will review the case and make a final decision.
