Joining Collabstr Through a Brand Invite

Brands can invite creators they already know to Collabstr using the My Creators feature, sometimes referred to as bringing your own creators. This gives brands and creators a structured way to manage collaborations, applications, orders, and payments in one place.

This article explains what it means when you are invited by a brand and what to expect during the process.

For creators

What a brand invite means for creators

A brand invite is for creators who already have a relationship with a brand, or who are being recruited directly, and want a faster and more organized way to collaborate through Collabstr.

A brand invite:

  • Does not mean you accepted a paid collaboration
  • Does not lock you into a contract
  • Gives you a clear path to work with that brand on Collabstr
  • Lets you optionally set up a marketplace profile for additional opportunities
  • Allows you to get paid through Collabstr, you will pay 0% fees on any order you complete with the brand that invited you to the platform

How the creator flow works

You may receive one of the following:

  • A brand-level invite
  • A campaign invite

2. You sign up through a branded onboarding experience

The invite link takes you to a branded signup flow so you know which brand invited you and why you are joining Collabstr.

3. You complete onboarding

After signup, you go through Collabstr’s standard onboarding and verification process before your account becomes active.

4. After onboarding, you are routed based on the invite type

Brand-level invite

  • You are taken to the brand’s public profile
  • You can browse and apply to any active campaigns from that brand

Campaign invite

  • You are taken directly to that campaign’s application
  • If the campaign is no longer active, you will see a fallback experience that guides you to the brand’s profile or next steps

5. You can collaborate with the inviting brand and optionally join the marketplace

Once verified, you can:

  • Work directly with the brand that invited you
  • Complete additional setup to become discoverable to other brands by finishing your profile, adding packages, and enabling marketplace visibility
