Update the Price of an Order

Sometimes, the cost of an order may need to be adjusted after it has been created. This can happen if the scope of work changes, if new deliverables are added, or if you propose different pricing than what was originally agreed upon. Collabstr allows you to securely request a price update without leaving the platform.

Update the Price of an Order

1. Open the Order

• Go to your Orders Dashboard.
• Select the order you want to update.
• You can only request a price update if the order is in a Request or In-Progress state.
• On the right-hand side of the order details section, click Modify Price.

2. Request a Price Change

• Enter the new order price you are proposing.
• The brand will receive a notification and must approve the change before it takes effect.
• If the brand approves, they will be automatically charged the difference, which is added to escrow.

3. Continue the Order

• Once the update is approved, the order continues under the new price.
• If the brand does not approve, the order remains at the original agreed price.
